REST!

R- Relax, renew, re-focus E- Easy on self; "Don't be hard on yourself!" ..."Be kind to yourself". S- Scripture, study, sing songs T- Time with Jesus, time with family, time to catch up at home; Tears...tears are OK. Time to grieve Treat myself occasionally. "Taste and see that the LORD is GOOD! Whenever I feel down, I know there is ONE Who lifts me up, whether it is due to chemical imbalance, thyroid/hormonal imbalance, lack of sunlight, medication not working, or whatever!...Jesus is there to lift me up when I call His name. He said He would never, never leave me nor forsake me. He is always here, always faithful no matter how I feel. My feelings do not dictate His Truth! Prayer: Thank You, Lord, that You are Faithful and True, always present, always loving me. Thank You that Your Word speaks louder than my feelings and louder than any lies that are contrary to Your Truth. In Jesus' Name, AMEN.

Take my sadness

Take my pain.

Let the tears flow

Like the falling rain.

Heal the hurt,

Reveal the “whys”;

Hear from heaven,

Open the skies.

Move me forward,

Let me not remain

Stuck in the past;

Never the same.

Let me bloom

Like a beautiful plant!

If You say, “I can” -

Don’t let me say, “I can’t”!

Bring freedom from this suffering

and please heal my pain.

But let me never forget -

It was You Who was slain.

The Lamb was slain

For my sin and my shame.

So what is this pain

compared to heaven’s claim?!

You hold me close;

I know You’re near.

I hear You say,

“My child, don’t fear.”

The time is short;

This suffering won’t last.

For I will come with a shout

And a trumpet blast!

Do you believe?

Can you see it’s true?

That you are loved!?

That I love you!?

So come to Me now -

I’ll never let you go.

My love, peace and comfort

You will always know.

Yes, accept Me, by faith -

It’s simple, but true...

I accept you as you are!

Yes, I LOVE YOU!

So wait no longer;

don’t delay.

I’ll make you stronger,

starting today.

Today is the day

for salvation to begin.

I knock at the door;

Will you let Me in?

Open the door;

A new life will begin.

I’ll share your pain;

I’ll remove your sin.

So come to Me now

and you will know -

I’ll always be with you -

I’ll never let you go.
